Playing Scales And Chords
Scales are a great way to build good fingerings and understand how melody, harmony (chords) and key signatures work. It’s a great idea to learn scales with right hand first and get to know what sharps and flats are in each scale as well as which number of the note they fall. You can learn your chords right from each scale as you go. I’ve introduced them in the circle of 5ths so you can learn the relationships of 5ths that happen everywhere in music and understand how the keys are related to each other.
