About Suzan

Move Motivate Create

When we are moved, it can spark a creation that we feel compelled to bring from our imagination into the real world. Being inspired not only gives us new ideas but also the motivation to act on them. Dreaming alone won’t allow us to express ourselves; we also need something to coax us into wanting it and someone to encourage through making it happen.

Teaching and creating content for students brings together so many things that I love. Creating music allows me to move emotions. Teaching allows me to move emotion to action. What students do with what I give them always moves me right back.

 Discovery

My desire to learn new things is motivated by curiosity to find new connections and perspectives. This motivates me whether I’m writing a song, creating music curriculum, working with students or designing for 3D felt.
